Power and Electric Company has manufactured state-of-the-art custom generators for the entertainment industry, military and for aerospace applications. PECO is an independent packager of engines and generators that are produced by several different manufacturers, including Volvo-Penta, Isuzu, CAT, Kubota, Cummins, John Deere, Detroit Diesel, Marathon, Mecc Alte and Newage. The components, including the use of NATO and Federal Stock Number parts where possible, are integrated to provide a compact, quiet and reliable units. Electric power capacities with any combinations of voltage and frequency are available from 2 kilowatts up through 2 megawatts. The voltage and frequency tolerances can be maintained within 0.05 percent, which is critical when providing power for sensitive electronic equipment.

A substantial benefit of our unique packaging of the engine and the generator is an extremely low noise level. The Power and Electric Company family of silent running generators operating at full load produces a noise level that does not exceed 55dbA when measured at 50 feet All units are designed for mobile applications and can be constructed on pallets, skids, rugged trailers or inside shelters, vans and trains.

Available features include custom painting, HEMP, EMP, EMI and RFI suppression, electronic/automatic transfer switching (ATS) and custom controls. Continuous operation in excess of 60 days, full Halon fire suppression systems, single and double wall tanks and custom cable reels can be provided. Audible alarms, visual alarms and built in test systems are standard.

PECO programs include MIL-Star, rail-based PEACEKEEPER Missile system, JTIDS (ASAS) and several classified programs.
